Introduction
My journey
This book is not just a collection of ideas.
It is a reflection of my journey—one that has taken me more than six years to walk.
It began with an event that changed everything.
For four years after, I lived in a fog of confusion, pain, and survival.
I kept waiting for someone to save me, for life to return to what it was, for love to come from outside.
But the truth came quietly, painfully: I am the only one who can love me.
No one else can do that work.
No book, no therapist, no relationship—not even the most skilled, kind, or loving people.
That love had to come from within.
At first, I turned to books on self-improvement that promised healing through affirmations, positive thinking, and “loving myself” mantras.
But the words rang hollow.
How could I tell myself I love myself when every part of me knew I didn’t?
It felt like putting a Band-Aid over a deep, unhealed wound.
So I started with what I could.
I began to care for my body.
I read books, took courses, and learned what it meant to live a healthy life—because that, at least, felt possible.
I didn’t know how to erase the past, but I could feed myself well, move my body, and give myself the gift of vitality.
I also sought professional help.
My therapist was among the best, and she helped me tremendously.
But even she told me: The trauma can never be fully erased. We can only learn to minimize its impact.
That was both a comfort and a challenge.
So I kept going.
I read more books.
I enrolled in more psychology courses.
I travelled to retreats in Basel, Switzerland, seeking answers in stillness and silence.
I learned that meditation could connect me to a deeper part of myself—a place beyond words, beyond pain, beyond thought.
And I began to practice.
Every day, I learned a little more.
Every day, I grew a little stronger.
I became a phoenix, rising from the ashes.
At first, I thought I would write this book as a legacy for my son—something he could turn to if he ever needed it.
He’s still just nine years old, still living in a state of love, untouched by the weight of the world.
But I realized I wanted to do more than leave something behind.
I wanted to be a guide for him now—to teach him self-love, not just through words, but through example.
And I wanted to share this journey with you.
I don’t know who you are yet, or how this book will find you.
But I hope it reaches those who need it—those who are ready to rise, glow, and live in love.
This book is for you, if you’re ready.
Let’s walk this path together.
